Benevolence is a large part of SPSF’s heart in serving our men and women and their families in public safety. This past November SPD lost an officer. Officer Mitchell Georgiana was on the Smyrna Police Department. A few days before his passing, Mitchell texted his mom asking for blankets to put in his patrol car. Since the weather was changing and becoming colder Officer Mitchell wanted to make sure people who had no home would stay warm. The Georgiana family is keeping Officer Mitchell memory alive, by selling blankets to place in all the Smyrna patrol cars.
