SPSF teamed up with SFD to relaunch the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). This is a 9-week national program. CERT teaches citizens how to better prepare themselves for hazards that may affect their community. CERT trains in basic disaster response skills such as team organization, disaster medical operations, fire safety, and light search and rescue. CERT will be offered 2 times a year, spring, and fall. The schedules will differ per session to help accommodate multiple schedules.
