Smyrna Police Department Major Mark Binicewicz oversees the department’s Administrative Division and the Office of Professional Standards, the department’s accountability arm. He is also responsible for the spending and reconciliation of the department’s budget and the daily functions of the Smyrna 911 center. Binicewicz began his career with the Smyrna Police Department in 2002 as a 911 operator, following his honorable service in the United States Navy.
