The Smyrna Public Safety Foundation reported that last week’s Hero Gala was its most successful to date, with attendance increasing by 17.5% and funds raised climbing more than 52% compared to last year’s event.
The annual event raises money for the Foundation’s support of Smyrna’s first responders, including its Benevolence Fund, which addresses the urgent needs of our local heroes.
The gala also marked the start of the organization’s packed 2026 calendar of events, which includes a golf tournament in April, Jazz Under the Gazebo in November, and Shop With a Hero in December.
The Foundation thanked attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners for helping make the evening its most successful yet.
