Smyrna’s first responders participated in a run this morning to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. We will never forget.

“We are so honored to have been able to run today with our police officers and firefighters in honor of 9/11,” Denise Czarnik, executive director of the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, said. “We can never forget those who gave so much for us, and they give so much for us every day here in Smyrna and throughout Georgia and Cobb County. We are so grateful again that we have got to run, participate and stand with the men and women who serve us and keep us safe every day.”
