Smyrna Public Safety Foundation (SPSF) was founded in 2009 with a mission to Encourage and Strengthen the partnership between our community and its public safety personnel.
As a non-profit, the partnerships we gain are critical in maintaining and expanding the resources and programs offered to our first responders, their families and our great community of Smyrna. As you consider your support this year, we invite you to join us in supporting our community's heroes as we foster a strong, united partnership between our dedicated public safety personnel and the community they tirelessly serve. By building bridges of trust and cooperation, we ensure a safer, more connected neighborhood for all.
General donations are non-restricted contributions that are used where the need is greatest. They generally support SPSF’s operations, events, programs, and additional resources for first responders. SPSF’s activities promote community engagement with our citizens, businesses, schools, and churches.

The Benevolence Fund supports first responders and their families during times of crisis, helping to restore their confidence and peace of mind. It addresses and supports their urgent and unforeseen needs. The funds provide financial support for our public safety employees and their immediate families in cases of line-of-duty injury, death, or hardship.

This program supports local elementary students each year for a day-long event that offers children the opportunity to spend the morning shopping for the holidays with a Police Officer, Firefighter, EMS or Military Personnel. Each child is provided with money to spend on much-needed clothing, shoes, coats, and gifts. They also receive a holiday meal to share with their family.
