Denise Czarnik has worked for more than 30 years in various roles across the medical field, global pre-employment screening, and an investigative firm. She has served as executive director of the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation since September 2020.
Before joining the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation full-time, Denise was elected to the board in January 2018. In January 2019, Denise accepted the role of secretary.
Denise currently serves on the Smyrna Business Association Board as community liaison. Denise served on the board of Atlanta’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies for four years. She was active with the Michigan/Georgia Minority Supplier Councils. In addition to the business community, Denise served in her church’s women’s, children’s, and couples ministries.
Denise and husband of more than 35 years, Rob, moved to Georgia from Michigan in 2017, for Denise’s former employer. Denise has two married sons: one lives in Germany with his wife, and the other lives in Nebraska with her grandson. Aside from her community engagement, Denise enjoys playing with their two German shepherds, watching their son’s hockey games, and watching their daughter-in-law compete in figure skating.
